So you know that number on the top of your admin dashboard that says you have x updates?

I click that, select all updates then update

after that I move mouse over to plugins –> add new

then I get a blank page with only one sentence: You are not allowed to call this page directly.

https://www.whateverdomain.com/wp-admin/plugin-install.php is the url showing that message. I then refresh the page and voila the proper thing shows up up.

I am logged in as adinistrator.
I have latest WordPress, theme and plugins (including the ones I just updated).
It shows in more than one domain, 16 domains, which are all in one hosted accounts (add-on domains) and it happens to the main domain as well. standard WordPress setup. 3 different domain registrars, one is a big domain registrar that begins with G, another one is located in Panama and the third one is located in Toronto.

I have no idea what my blood type is and I am a virgo.

    what is going on?
