Plugins not affecting category and tag descriptions?

  • Hi all.

    Why is it that plugins cannot manipulate category description content or tag content? E.g. I use the seo smart links plugin, but words in my category descriptions that I automatically want to have a link on, are not changed…

    Is it possible to change this, so that descriptions are affected by plugin manipulation anyway?
