Plugins not getting deactivated and deleted

  • Hi,

    Since i have updated my wordpress my plugins management is not working properly. when i deactivate them they don’t get deactivated and once they shows as deactivated they don’t get deleted.

    Also when i am trying to change my posts, i mean editing some error messages comes as some backup is there which is rolling back to what it was at the time of backup.

    Please help me out, in serious trouble.

    Access your server via FTP/ SFTP, or a file manager in your hosting account’s control panel (consult your hosting provider’s documentation for specifics on these), navigate to /wp-content/plugins/ and delete/rename/uninstall the plugin. OR

    If you can install plugins, install “Health Check”: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/ On the troubleshooting tab, you can click the button to disable all plugins and change the theme for you, while you’re still logged in, without affecting normal visitors to your site.
