Plugins onInstall event?

  • Is there an event that fires when a plugin is first installed? I want to run some extended tests when the plugin is first installed — tests that would be too slow to run each time the plugin is executed.

    Any tips?

    Doesn’t appear to be one. I think the best solution for this would be to set a flag in the wp_options table and check it… if it’s not there (or if it has expired, then run additional tests).
