Plugins only work when deactivated

    Plugin Help,

    My plugins only work when deactivated. I’m using WordPress 2.0.4. I know I must have some simple newbie error in my settings, but I have searched and can’t seem to find a solution.

    Any help would be appreciated and much thanks in advance,

    plugins are shown with green background in adminpages when activated. are yours white?

    Your right, I just notice that. This newbie was looking at the right side of the page for what was active or deactive. However and what really confused me, was the akismet plugin reports it is not active when it’s green.

    Any idea?

    I figured out my foolish error. Thanks for the help.

    Could you post how you fixed it please, so the next poor soul can search and find it for help?
