Plugins picking up [email protected] email address

Hi:

The gravity forms plugin cannot seem to send emails. When I look at their debugging log, I see that the email address that is being used is [email protected]. Everything is setup properly in gravity forms according to their support but the email being picked up is just wrong. After turning off all plugins and themes, it is still picking this email address up.

On a whim I installed formidable forms as well. It also cannot send email (but I don’t have a debug log from them so I can’t tell if its doing what gravity forms is doing and picking up the wrong email address).

I installed postman and configured it, sending out test emails just fine. But even with that installed, gravity forms is still picking up the wrong email address to send to. So I have to assume that something else is the root cause and not the actual outgoing email transport.

Any ideas on how to track down the cause of this bug will be very much appreciated.
