• I’m facing problem while updating the plugins on my website. A screenshot to the steps i perform is uploaded here.

You can see that at step 1: when i go to update page by clicking the notification for update on admin panel. The list of plugins is available which needs to be updated.
Note:- Image shows a sample plugin. The problem occurs with all plugins.

step 2: when plugins are selected and “update plugins” button is pressed, next screen update plugins page but nothing on it.

step 3: when the plugins are checked they are not updated and still update option is available. But when from plugins page i click on “update now” link then one by one all plugins are updated successfully.

Can someone guide me why i’m unable to update plugins from update-core.php page?

    Thanks

  • Do you having any caching plugins installed like W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache?

Also if you turn on debugging can you report the error messages that get printed to the screen. To turn on debugging set WP_DEBUG from false to true in your wp-config.php file.

Both plugins are installed. W3 Total Cache is disabled while WP Super Cache is enabled. For further testing I have disable both plugins now.

Debugging is enabled. and plugins are again updated. Same result with following debug information.
