Are there any suggestions how to deal with plurals?
For instance with this site ‘Tents’ is a popular search term.

    Many thanks

    Hi?@johnsnelgrove

Thank you for your interest in the Filter Everything plugin.

Can you please provide more detailed information on what exactly you mean by that? And what you are trying to achieve?

    Best Regards – Victor

    Hi Victor,

If you look at this link with plural: https://smhc.co.uk/smhc-collection/?srch=tents
And this with singular ‘tent;: https://smhc.co.uk/smhc-collection/?srch=tent

They would like the plural search to find the singular.
Tent is just one example – this would apply to any plural: piton(s), carabiner(s) and so on.

    Many thanks

    Hi?@johnsnelgrove

Well, the search filter uses the default WP search algorithms. So it is searching in a title, description(content), and SKU for Woo products for similarities.

So if there is a little “tent” and you wrote “tents” it will ignore all of the posts with the title “tent” as it is looking for like%tents%like but if you have posts with the name tents and write the tent then it will find them.

Alternatively, you can add in the content “tents” so it will find them.

Thanks Victor, we have used SiteSearch360 that solves all the issues but just a bit pricey…

    Many thanks for your help
