plurals, adjectives, adverbs

Is there a way to make the tooltips popup for plurals (with singular glossary terms) or related forms of the word? e.g. having defined sidewalk, can sidewalks also be recognized? Or mesophyte –> mesophytic? Or does each form have to be separately added to the glossary?
