Dashboard –> Users –> edit your own user account

Then look for ‘Toolbar’ and check the box for ‘Show Toolbar when viewing site’.

Save that!

If you can’t do it yourself then ask the admin to do it for you on your profile. That should give you back the toolbar and from there I expect you’ll be fine.

Sometimes you might find a setting that doesn’t work being checked as though it should work… in that case uncheck it, save, and check it again then save that. It’s rare that this happens but I’m very ‘old school’ and find that ‘toggling’ a setting sometimes fixes things still.
