Plus signs in URL when ppl try to email

  • I actually don’t know if this is caused by Jetpack or not, but I do have the email button live under “More.” I tried using it and couldn’t duplicate it.

    My 404 error log shows errors at urls full of plus signs for people trying to email pages and posts. The urls that give 404 errors:

    I get these type of 404s every day, don’t know why, and can’t fix them. Any thoughts? If it’s not from Jetpack problems, then possibly where?

    Thanks for verifying your site URL.

    I tried testing the email form on the big bang trap post and it seems to be working properly for me as well.

    Since this is the first time we’ve heard of this specific error, I would check with your host to see if they have any insight into this particular issue. It’s possible they’re blocking bot traffic or other automated web crawlers.

    Also, could you get us the full list of the plugins you’re using along with the exact output of your PHP error logs? Once I have those things, I’ll be happy to take a closer look.
