PM Pro canceling subs but not at authorize.net

One of my web clients is having trouble with subscription cancellations on his site not appropriately canceling through authorize.net as well. That is, PM Pro shows the subscription cancelled, but then the next month the customer is billed again. I am a developer, and I checked out the authorize.net add-on. It seems to be sending the correct xml request in its cancel function. This makes me wonder if PM Pro is accessing that cancel function the way it should when it cancels a subscription inside itself. I don’t know where to check that inside the recesses of the PM Pro code. Any help is appreciated!
