PMPRO & Paypal guest checkout

    Hi,

    I would like to know if it is possible to enable Paypal’s guest checkout to recurring subscriptions with PMPRO (it works fine with one time payment)?

    I want to do it without the need to include SSL in my site, but to move the all process to paypal (i.e I don’t want the the credit cards fields inside my site)

    is it possible? if so, how can I do it?

    Another thing is that when using the standard paypal option,
    I got error from paypal: “First trial illegal”

    What can it be???

    Hello! Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro. You can definitely use PayPal for recurring subscriptions and not have to store or process the credit cards on your site. You can do this by using PayPal Express. After signing up at PayPal, you can enter you API credentials to interface to PayPal by going to Memberships >> Payment Settings >>Payment Gateway >>PayPal Express.

    With respect to the PayPal Standard error. We have had issues with PayPal Standard in the past, and usually recommend users try PayPal Express instead. Is this something you would consider? Let us know if this works. Thanks again.
