PNG compression disabled. Why?

That sounds very much like your site/server is using API-free mode, which only does JPG compression. If you could post the debug info from the support tab on the settings page (via pastebin.com), we’ll take a look and confirm what is happening there.

That confirms the ‘exec’ function is disabled, so only JPG images will be processed by the plugin without an API subscription/purchase. You can read more about that here: https://docs.ewww.io/article/29-what-is-exec-and-why-do-i-need-it
