Hi @karamba
This is Ioanna from Imagify and I’ll gladly assist you here.
I am sorry to hear that!
We have developed a helper plugin that can often resolve these errors. You can download and install it using the following link:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/aaugvnd8f5d60u1/AADcReBHf7ojShFtb1uzaefea?dl=0&preview=imgf-custom-site-root.zip
Sometimes Imagify is not able to find your backup directories, and this can help it to locate them.
When you activate the helper plugin check if the issue is resolved. If it is not then it could be related to the chmod (file/folder permissions) and/or chown (file/folder ownership) settings. The permissions should be 755 for folders and 644 for files. If the permissions are correct, then it may be related to the chown settings. These settings need to be correct so Imagify can write the newly optimized images and backup images to their proper locations on your server.
It would be good to contact your host provider to see if they can provide insight on why your server is not allowing Imagify to write these files to your backup folders, and to see if they can change your settings to allow it.
Let me know if you need further assistance. I’ll be happy to help.
Best regards,
Ioanna
