Hey team, my favourite plugin of all time, but I’m just wondering why it would be necessary for the Wordfence png logo to load on the frontend and add to my speed report? This is the image /wp-content/uploads/2020/08/wordfence-log.png

Hello @wpwench and thanks for reaching out to us!

Thanks also for the kind words about our plugin! We really do appreciate it!

You mentioned the png loading on your frontend and causing it to show up on your speed report? Is it causing issues? Could you also show me exactly what you are seeing with a screenshot?

    Thanks again!

Hi @wfadam thanks for the super quick response. Please excuse my stupidity here, the previous maintainer of the site had placed a wordfence logo on the website during development. I thought it didn’t make sense that you guys would load an image on the frontend. I guess it was supposed to be named worfence-logo.png, the wordfence-log really got me wondering.

This does bring up another question for me though, is it ok to have a ‘protected by wordfence’ statement with logo on the site? That wouldn’t be breaking any rules would it? Thanks again.

We actually have a few badges you could add to your site.

If you want to email wftest @ wordfence . com with subject “wpwench for WFADAM” I could send you the zip over.

    Thanks again!
