PNG to JPEG conversion not working

    I’d like to convert my PNG images to JPEG and have enabled this option, but it isn’t working when trying to re-optimized existing images or when uploading new images. Here’s an example image I tested with.

    thanks for your message.

    Usually PNG doesn’t (seem to) work when:
    1) the resulting JPEG image won’t be smaller than the original PNG.
    2) the necessary functions for conversions aren’t available in your PHP installation.
