Podcast Feed Appearing Twice

    Hello,

    I noticed that the episodes and descriptions were not showing up on the page, so I thought by importing the external RSS feed again would help. Now each of the episodes were showing up twice.

    I tried uninstalling the plugin and downloading/installing it again, but the episodes are still showing up twice (I didn’t import the RSS feed this time).

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the message and sharing a bit about the issue that you’re experiencing. In looking at https://makinthebacon.com/podcast it seems that this may be a custom page template or other variation of the default archive.php template that your theme would render. Did you create a custom page template for the Podcast post type? That would be the first place I’d look.

    I do see that you have duplicates of the episodes on your site, and I’d suggest to remove those duplicate instances of the episodes. Are they all published in the Podcast -> All Episodes area of your dashboard?

    Hi Craig,

    I ended up deleting the duplicates since they were also published in the area of the episode of the dashboard.
