I’m working on helping a client use PowerPress Taxonomy Podcasting to power Podcast feeds ingested by LibreTime radio station automation software.

We needed to create a new role called, DJ, to enable the DJ to login and ONLY create a new Podcast in OnAir2 theme. They should be restricted from navigating anywhere else and simply access the Podcast post type in OnAir2, upload their file, and then set it in the PowerPress meta box, so that we can use the Taxonomy Podcasting feeds to feed LibreTime.

However, when I enable the roles plugin whether for the ADMIN user or the DJ user, the PowerPress meta box disappears.

    Can you help with this.

UPDATE: We hired Justin Tadlock to build a companion plugin to Roles, which he is the plugin author of. That companion plugin restricts the user role to DJ to actually add a Podcast in OnAir2 post type of Podcasts. When I turn on his plugin, it affects the PowerPress meta box. He’s telling us to contact PowerPress, because in his testing he found that whether PowerPress Post Type and Taxonomy Podcasting were active, it then hid the PowerPress meta panel. He’s saying it’s a PowerPress issue and not his issue. So…not sure what to do here, but trying to find a solution.
