Podcast removed from Spotify because feed does not validate

    Hi, Our podcast has just been taken offline by Spotify because of feed validation errors.

    Spotify support says the feed needs to pass the w3c validator, but the feed this plugin generates currently fails because an <image> tag is getting added to each episode: https://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=https%3A%2F%2Fugsmag.com%2Ffeed%2Fpodcast%2Fugsmag%2F

    This feed does not validate.

    Any ideas how to resolve this so the feed validates?

    Looks like this issue with spotify was actually caused by a blank pubdate tag for each episode. The feed still doesn’t validate because of the image tag, but Spotify restored our show now.

    I have some Episodes that Spotify dont put it in the index.
    I have ask by Spotify and they have see this problem:
    <guid isPermaLink=”false”></guid>
    So the new Episodes dont go to Spotify
