Podcast self-hosting and category setup

    I’ve created my initial episode but have some confusion about how to setup my wordpress site to ensure the right audio is picked up as an episode.

    By default it appears that “sitename.com/feed/podcast” is picked up as the URL for the RSS. However, it picks up other post with audio links. These are not necessarily podcast episodes as I post music downloads and other audio.

    I want to have audio files picked up as part of a category I post to. I enabled the Category podcasting but am a bit confused if this is the correct step for this.

    I believe I have this setup properly and submitted, with artwork, to the Apple Podcast directory. The validation pulled everything up correctly.
