Podcast Theme is a Fresh Choice for Me

  • Thanks for creating the Podcast Theme. It has given my website a fresh look that I’ve been looking for as a WP beginner. The documentation worked out pretty well for me with the exception of how to get the embeded player to display when I activate the Display Newest Episode Block on Homepage like in the demo. Again, I’m a novice at this so any feedback is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you again for such an awesome free theme that you’ve created! Keep up the great work.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your positive feedback, really appreciate it.

    If you want the embedded player to appear in post excerpts (be it in the general list of posts or in the Newest Episode homepage block), simply insert the code into the post’s Excerpt box (under the main content box).

    Then it will appear as it does in the live demo of the Podcast theme.

    Amazing!

    I would have never realized that the ‘excerpt’ option can be used in this way on my own. Thank you for taking the time out (even on a holiday) to educate me on this. Your time is greatly appreciated so I purchased the support license to support your continued efforts.
