    Hey Support,

Great plugin and I’m enjoying launching into the podcast world with it! I’m having some problem on my site regarding /podcast slug. I read the helpful article listed at blubrry about ways to properly use that slug (redirect, htaccess, etc).

My issue is that something is conflicting with the plugin and I’m unable to apply any of those suggestions. If you look at the link, there is a bunch of code showing up. Could you take a look?

I’d ideally love to have the /podcast url to use. I was affraid to deactivate the plugin as I just launched my podcast and I don’t want to affect any of the feeds, any suggestions would be helpful.

    Thanks!

What you’re seeing is the raw XML data in your podcast RSS feed. It’s normal for it to look that way when you view it in a web browser.

    Hey Shawn,

Thanks for looking into that, my question than is how do I change that to a normal page without breaking my feed? Thanks!

As long as you follow the instructions on the Blubrry support document you referenced in your original post, there shouldn’t be any negative impact on your feed.

I tried the 301 re-direct and it did not work. Can I disable the plugin to try that work around or will disabling it affect the feed/functionality? Thanks!

PowerPress stores its settings in the WordPress database, so there’s no harm in temporarily disabling the plugin. When you reactivate it, it should come back with all of the same settings as before.
