I plan on announcing podcast release on January 1st tomorrow with first 3 episodes. I submitted to iTunes and it is approved but the episodes are in reverse order with 3rd episodes listed as episode #1, 2nd episode as #2 and the first episode listed as #3.

How can I get this changed so that the oldest episode is listed as episode #1 which reverses their current standing?

By default, podcasts are listed in reverse chronological order, with the oldest episode at the bottom of the list, newest episode at the top. This is normal and what most people expect to see when they subscribe to a new show. There is an optional <itunes:order> tag you can set up in PowerPress settings that can change this display behavior. But I wouldn’t recommend using it unless you feel you have a very good reason to do so. Keep in mind that once you start using this Order tag, you will need to ensure you enter an Order value for all of your existing episodes, as well as your new episodes going forward, in order to keep everything organized properly. Also, the Order tag probably isn’t supported by all apps/platform that syndication podcasts. So, your preferred order may only show in either the iOS Podcasts app or the iTunes desktop application.
