Podcasts not showing within Search

    Do you have a search function, tag or other method for integrating podcasts within a site’s Search?

    Currently podcasts are not displayed within Search. Ideally, I’d like some method to integrate it within the podcast page.

    Just to further clarify, SSP podcasts seem to be excluded from my site’s search results. If I search for a podcast title or text within its description, no results are found.

    Also should a category have been created for podcasts by SSP or does it require that I manually add that category (or is that just for blog posts)?

    Any help would be appreciated on this. I need Search to work.

    This issue may be related to your theme. Testing using the WordPress default 2020 theme from the repository and the most recent version of SSP, search works out of the box. Can you test this on your site to confirm?

    I added the Ajax Search Lite plugin and that allowed me to control the podcast indexing.

    It could be the theme, Genesis, but the plugin was an easier fix
