Podpress–Can’t download my podcast

I am running podpress 7.1 and WP 2.1 just for the record.

I am new to podcasting, and I downloaded podpress to handle all the feeds etc. I have the mp3 file of my podcast uploaded, podpress recognizes where it’s at, but when you go to play the podcast in my post it says there’s an error. I also cannot pull up the folder the podcast is in without being sent to a 404 page.

I’ve removed podpress and reinstalled it, I’ve tried changing my .htaccess file and that sent my site all out of wack. I turned off the tracking, and I can’t think of anything else to do.
