podpress compatibility

  • Hi,
    Does anyone know if the latest podpress (v8.8) compatible with wordpress 2.0.X? I installed it on my BLOG (WP 2.0.11 with default theme, no plugins), but the feed doesn’t show up with enclosure tags while the player works just fine on the post.

    Any answer or advise would be greatly appreciated.

  • It works (8.8) mostly. It breaks the new galleries feature (all images displayed at full res, as opposed to the designated size).

    Hope podpress gets a fix soon, it sucks that it breaks the new galleries feature. If I had known this ahead of time, i wouldn’t have upgraded.

    So I upgraded Wordpres to 2.5 and reactivated my Podpress plugin. All of my previous links to audio and video work well, but I no longer have the option to add media in the new page or new post area, and there are no links in the WP admin panel to Podpress at all. When I click on the link in the plugin panel to go to podpress settings, it goes to a blank page.

    IS there any news of a 2.5 compliant version coming out? I have not been able to add any audio since I upgraded WP.

    I’m seeing a podPress javascript error when loading the write post page, post-new.php. Using WP 2.5 and podPress 8.8.

    dbxGroup is undefined

    this error is in podpress_admin_postedit.js.

    The error doesn’t seem to be fatal.
