    Hi,

I’m testing the QSM solution to provide auto-evaluation to my customers.
It seems that point score and all point variables doesn’t work.
QSM seems to use only the first answer to the first question.
Whatever answers to other questions are, the score depends only on the first answer.

I’m sorry if it’s only a bad use of your solution but I couldn’t find the solution in this forum ou in your documentation.

Thanks a lot for your help.

    Christophe.

  • Hi there,

Welcome to QSM Support Forum. Hope you are doing well.

There is no issue at our end regarding the point-based evaluation of quizzes. I took the quiz you mentioned above but I could not identify how you have evaluated the final result of the quiz.

You need to assign points to individual answers, then check the quiz graded as ‘points based’ under ‘Options’ tab and then use points based template variables as per your requirements.

    Hi Kriti,

First of all, sorry if I didn’t see you already answered and if I forgot I already asked.
I sent the same topic a second time but don’t know how to delete it.

I understood that the final result of “point score” is a sum of points for each answer.

Whatever answers are to 3 questions, the result is either 5 or 0.
That’s the score of the first question.

Sorry, the quiz is french, I can translate it if it’s easier for you.

I like QSM and need it for my business.

    Thanks.

    Christophe.

While I know you have the best of intentions, it’s forum policy that you not ask users for admin or server access. Users on the forums aren’t your customers, they’re your open source collaborators, and requesting that kind of access can put you and them at high risk.

If they are paying customers (such as people who bought a premium service/product from you) then by all means, direct them to your official customer support system. But in all other cases, you need to help them here on the forums.

Thankfully are other ways to get information you need:

    You get the idea.

We know volunteer support is not easy, and this guideline can feel needlessly restrictive. It’s actually there to protect you as much as end users. Should their site be hacked or have any issues after you accessed it, you could be held legally liable for damages. In addition, it’s difficult for end users to know the difference between helpful developers and people with malicious intentions. Because of that, we rely on plugin developers and long-standing volunteers (like you) to help us and uphold this particular guideline.

When you help users here and in public, you also help the next person with the same problem. They’ll be able to read the debugging and solution and educate themselves. That’s how we get the next generation of developers.
