Pointed my site to add-on domain, but home page link shows 404 error

  • I set up site on https://www.mediatrendsllc.com/gothictimesnetwork. When it was ready to be pointed to it’s own domain, https://www.gothictimes.net, I called my hosting company and they walked me through the process. I tested the links and they all show gothictimes.net/whatever_page — EXCEPT the home page link at the top of the site.

    If I click on the link, it takes me to https://www.mediatrendsllc.com/gothictimesnetwork and I get an error 404 message.

    I cannot find anywhere to edit the Home page, because it is not listed as a page on my dashboard. My hosting company rep checked the database for the site in her PHP Admin and she did not see any coding with mediatrendsllc.com, only gothictimes.net. Note: Gothictimes.net is under the same hosting account as mediatrendsllc.
