Pointing a WordPress subfolder to the main site
-
I am working on a website (vannercentral.com) that was originally made many years ago on Microsoft Frontpage and then Expression. The site is currently hosted on siteground.com. I also have a WordPress account linked to this site on siteground. I had to create a sub-folder for WordPress as I could not find a way to integrate the existing folder with WordPress. Currently, all wordpress files/pages are under vannercentral.com/Wordpress. This works fine with sub pages. However, I am trying to make the WordPress homepage become the main homepage. ie, take the page on vannercentral.com/Wordpress and make it be the page that appears on vannercentral.com. I tried pointing it on the Settings page in WordPress but that didn’t work. I’ve also read a variety of links on developer resource etc but need some additional help. All suggestions appreciated!
