Pointing the WP servers to my new host

  • Can’t find domain management listed anywhere, even when logged in as the site administrator.or how to point the servers to my clients new website on Wix. We obviously want to keep the domain name.
    Having been going round and round in circles on this site trying to find an answer.
    This is the reason I am shifting my client’s website, because there is no direct help available to fix problems like this.
    Very frustrating!

    This is a support forum for the WordPress software itself and is staffed by volunteers.

    I think you might want to talk to whoever is hosting your client’s website or domain and possibly contact Wix for support in transferring/moving your client’s website.

    This site is for supporting the WordPress software, not how to switch to Wix. For that information you really need to consider contacting Wix for how to accomplish that.

    Thank you for moving this to the appropriate topic.
    I have already spoken to Wix, and I obviously need to access Domain Management, but I am unable to see this on the WordPress site anywhere.
    I need to point the WordPress servers to the new ones, but can’t access anywhere to do this.
    I have successfully moved domains before with no hassles, so do not know how to access this on WordPress.

    Domain management isn’t done within WordPress itself, as WordPress is for managing your site’s content and appearance.

    You’ll need to find where the domain is registered, and modify the DNS there. www.ads-software.com doesn’t register domains nor host nameservers.
