pointless without any customisation options

  • Showing an iframe via a shortcode without any decent options to customise the look (besides basic colours) and with a terrible UX is completely pointless.
    – the fonts don’t match the site
    – spacing, padding etc. cannot be changed
    – once clicked on an event from the listing, there’s no signposting of how to get back to the list
    – event images cannot be shown as thumbnails in the listing
    – event descriptions cannot be shown in the listing
    – the event organiser name always shows even though the embedding is likely on that organiser’s own website!
    – button style cannot be changed to match the website
    Since you’re understandably charging a commission on sold tickets, there’s no justification to force your branding (logo + backlink) to the embedded content.

    Only reason for giving 2 instead of just 1 star: the shortcode works.
    But that’s the lowest bar.
