    hi,
anyone know if mix RTF and LTR languages is impossible?

i am getting crazy with so many problems,

i need mix both tipes of languages all over the page, since the person who will use it just want a portion of it to be translated.

The problem i get when the page is configured to show a translation is Hebrew,
is the fact english texts are aligned to right too, so okey, no problemo, i just fix the align to the left for all english texts and this will it will kept aligned and nice to read,

well, like always someting must go wrong, now we can read it well, but all the points are moved from its position to the start of the line and not in the end.

first i tought they appear from nowhere, but now i see they are the ones from the finish line that are moved!

    here i show a screenshoot: https://ul.larskl.de/file/2460/point.png

anyway to solve this? i am just getting crazy, looks a bad idea mix LTR and RTL langs,

  • Hi Spala,

mixing LTR and RTL languages indeed isn’t a good idea and causes more problems than it makes sense. That’s what you should tell your client. Sometimes it’s better to educate people than doing weird stuff…

As you’ve learned in your other support thread, switching to RTL languages will result in a completely different reading flow and layout adjustments to cater for that particular audience.

Anyway, please keep in mind that this is a support forum for the free WordPress theme you’re using. It isn’t about your multilingual plugin or creating multilingual websites. That isn’t something we can help you with.

The multilingual functionality you’ve added is handled by a plugin. You could contact the plugin developers and check if they offer any advice on how you could mix LTR and RTL languages with their plugin, in case you really want to do this (not recommended).
