points not being added

There is a video that shows you how to add a points type, with a points award and how to show the points balance at frontend:

For your issue, there are some things to check:

1) Have you configured the points award correctly?

2) Have you tested them with a new test account?

3) Have you installed our Block Users add-on? This add-on lets you block roles to receive anything on GamiPress, if you have it, check its configuration

4) If none of the previous options works, you may require to perform a conflict test as explained here:
