Polylang doesn't respect language selection or browser language

  • I’m experiencing an issue where Polylang isn’t respecting the language selection.
    When choosing a language the page will reload and then redirect to the default language.

    Secondly, it also doesn’t seem to respect the language set in the browser.

    Running WP 4.6 and latest version of Polylang.

    Please help.

    Regarding the Detect the browser preferred language option you must clear your cookie between each test, and disable your cache plugin. See the doc: https://polylang.pro/doc/detect-the-browser-preferred-language/

    When choosing a language the page will reload and then redirect to the default language.

    Go in Appearance > Menus: check if you have well put the translation pages in Spanish (for example) in your Spanish menu.
