How to enable email subscriptions for one language – so that if you are on the French page when you click subscribe you only get emails notifying you of new posts in French for example?

I don’t have a newsletter just the standard email notification of a new post. It would be handy to avoid people getting two emails per post (as I publish in 2 languages).
