Polylang and Google

  • Hello

    When people fill in my company name on Google, they find my English page first. While I am in the Netherlands, I prefer that clients see my Dutch page first. Some people say it has to do with Polylang.

    Does anybody know what I can do to change this?

  • When I search for your domain name without file extension, I find the German language subpage first since I Google in German. That fits quite well. Because Google shows in the results preferentially the language of the user in which the user uses googel.

    You use Yoast SEO for search engine optimization. I think it would be useful if you ask more specific questions about multilingualism in search engine results to their support forum: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/wordpress-seo/
