Polylang and Nisarg and Navbar-brand…

    Hello,

    I’ve 2 problems I came across taking a closer look at the full content of our web site.

    I use the plugin Polylang which is working fine (already tested sucessfully on 2 other themes) as far as it’s concerned, but I noticed that on the pages in the second language (French by default and English) that no image is loaded in the header, I’ve got a grey void rectangle !!!!

    Second issue : the Navbar-brand on the left hand side, is a shorcut for the blog, is that the expected behavior, because, now, when I click on both french and English blog shortcuts in the nav bar, I get the title of the blog page but NO article while the navbar brand displays the expected page AND article !

    Furthermore, what is really puzzling is that the shortuct being displayed on the nav-bar brand when hovering on it, is the one of the homepage, both French and English !!!!!
    There’s a hell of a mess in the shortcuts management !!!

    Hello,

    Solution for problem number 1 : this is a specific setting required by Polylang more especially when using random display of images in the header !
    Management of media translation must be disabled, and indeed, it makes the trick !

    Problem number 2 is still unsolved…

    Hello,

    Problem 2 solved : this was a wrong setting in Appearance, Static homepage section, where homepage was set on “first article” instead of “homepage”.

    Now when I click on the site-nav brand I get the homepage for both languages, and the blog articles for each language blog entries in the menu !
