Polylang and Yoast SEO major conflict

    Like the title says, I found a conflict when you use Polylang and Yoast SEO, but only when you have the option “Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks” activated in Polylang.

    The bug is that when you save the settings, or anything in those plugins, or update either Polylang or Yoast SEO, the website breaks, and the only way to get it back is to save the permalinks, without changing anything. I also found that it can break without those triggers, by itself, though I don’t know how.

    I tried downgrading both plugins, but I not to far back yet.

    If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

  • Having the same issue. Very annoying. The moment I activate the yoast plugin, on several pages the content disapears.
