Polylang BUG in Primary Menu

I have an issue with Polylang in the primary menu. I want to have Polylang “Languages” twice in the primary menu so I can show all languages inline/block on mobile menu and have languages as drop-down menu item on desktop.

The issue is, inline/block (not the drop-down one) Language switcher will only show one language choice, while the drop-down menu will show all 3 choices.

I am using Neve theme. I only have 3 versions of Homepage (for each language) which is set as static page Homepage in settings (confirms Polylang linked them correctly).

This is not an issue with other plugins, and not an issue with cache. Caching is disabled and I checked for plugin interferences.
