Hello. I have been using Bibblio in my website, which is available in 3 languages. I use polylang plugin btw. The related posts were always in the same language of the page I was currently visiting. The 2 plugins used to work very well together.

However, in the last few days I started to see something really bad. The related posts were from other languages as well. I mean, not only suggestions in the same language of the page I’m currently visiting. Sometimes, there are related posts in the 3 languages at the same time. Sometimes there’s even suggestions of the same post in different languages.

I am thinking that there are 2 possible reasons: It could be because of your recent update. Or it could also be because of the recent WordPress update.

Is there a way to fix this?
    Thank and Regards.

    Hi Birbo,

Our recent update included setting your recency filter on 30 days by default. Perhaps this may have had something to do with the changes in your recommendations? If so, you only need to change the setting to “OFF” and wait for 24h for the changes to be fully applied across your whole library.

Let us know if that works for you.

    Kind regards,

    Bibblio

    Hi again,

Unfortunately, I do not know what filter you are referring to. Can’t find any option/filter/setting with that name. Can you please be more specific? Where is it located?

    Regards

If you are using our WordPress plugin, you can find the recency slider by going to your WP admin > Bibblio > Settings.

    Next to the following instructions:

Prioritize recency. Posts published before the time period you select are less likely to appear as recommendations

You will find a slider that can be set to OFF, if that’s not already the case.

Otherwise, login to your Bibblio account on bibblio.org and you will find the slider under Content.

Let us know if you can’t find it.

    Thanks!

Thanks for the explanation! I will wait 24 hours, as you suggested, to see if it works.

    Thanks and regards!

    Hello again,

Just to let you know that your suggestion worked. Everything is showing only in one language, the right one. Thanks again for your help!

    Best Regards!

That’s good to hear, thanks for letting us know!

I’m going to mark this thread as resolved now, but don’t hesitate to reach out to us on bibblio.org if anything else comes up.

    Kind regards,

    Bibblio
