Polylang conflicts with Events Made Easy plugin
-
There seems to be a a conflict between polylang and the “events made easy” (EME) plugin. EME is a fairly popular plugin so I think it is worth looking into.
https://en-gb.www.ads-software.com/plugins/events-made-easy/When both plugins are activated, the “lang” attribute, in the <html> tag, disappears on backend admin pages (only). In the latest WordPress, this causes most of the content of “Media” and “Appearance -> Customize” pages to disappear.
Deactivating either plugin causes the lang attribute to reappear.
EME is not directly affecting the lang parameter, whereas polylang is, so I guess it would be easier for polylang developers to fix this, rather than the EME developer. If, however, you can identify the cause of the problem in EME, I can convey the information to my issue report on the EME forum, here
