    WordPress 4.0.1
    Polylang 1.6.1

    1. Permalinks: Post name (Default works)
    2. Your latest posts
    3.
    URL modifications:
The language is set from the subdomain name in pretty permalinks (en.domain.com broken, domain.com/en works)
Hide URL language information for default language
    Detect browser language:
When the front page is visited, set the language according to the browser preference
    Media:
Activate languages and translations for media

The plugin does not work with permalinks type en.domain.com
    (domain.com/en works)

    Hi!

Did you check first that your subdomains are working when Polylang is deactivated?

    Hello

I only use subdomains by polylang. I can not do this test.

I just detect the same problem in another wordpress site using qTranslate, is it possible that the error is produced by the new wordpress 4?

    Salut!

You must configure your subdomains on your server before using them in WordPress. They all must point to your WordPress directory. That’s not a problem with WordPress, qTranslate or Polylang. It seems that you forgot a step.

    Hi!

I need to specifically create subdomains on my server?
Documentation for Polylang I don’t see reference to this.

Subdomains on my server are functioning properly outside WP.
Before WP4, qTranslate page that has worked without problem.
It was not until I started to fail I started to look for alternatives and I found Polylang seems more attractive.

    Help please!

Another question, I wanted to do a test facility in localhost to view all options Polylang and view their compatibility with different plugins.

It’s possible to work with the model of URL lang.domain in localhost?

    Thanks ??

How? I created CNAME records and don’t work.

Yes but you must configure your subdomains

I don’t know how to do this in XAMPP, I’ll look at Google, but any help is welcome.

    Tanks!

I can’t help to create subdomains as it much depends on your host. If you can successfully point a subdomain to your WordPress directory (you can test if it works with Polylang de-activated), then it should work with Polylang.
