• Hello, I have installed the Sydney theme and the Polylang plugin. It works with a Sydney child theme.
She always translated the header of the silder but she doesn’t translate it anymore. The slider text always appears in the default language.
To translate the strings in Polylang, only slider_image_1 to 5 appears but not the texts (before they appeared to indicate the translation). It also appears to translate the string slider_button_url and slider_button_text .
The parent theme shows the chains of the sliders to translate but in the child theme they don’t (before they appeared)
that could be happening? How can I translate the text strings from slider 1 to 5?
    Thanks.

  • I have the same problem over a year now and still there is no solution.

You can take a look of my tried solutions, that did not work at my threads (thread1, thread2, thread3) on this topic.

I hope there will be a solution for this one soon, or it would be better to disable sydney header slider and you make a new multilanguage header slider.

    Best regards,

    BR

Hello BR, thanks for your comments.

I hope they fix it soon. I have consulted in the Polylang forum and thema Sydney.

    I still don’t have a solution.

    Regards
