    Hi there!

We are currently working on an app service that should work from multisite. The idea is to have the main site on app.com and use subdomain for new apps. In this case we have 3 apps:

    first.app.com
    second.app.com
    third.app.com

Inside of the first app it will multiple domains for languages:
    en: appen.com
    da: appda.com
    de: appde.com

On second we want to use subdomains for the languages:
    en: en.apptest.com
    da: da.apptest.com
    de: de.apptest.com

On the third the will use a mix of the two:
    en: en.apptest.com
    da: appda.com
    de: de.apptest.com

So my question is really: How strong is Polylang in regards to domain mapping? Will it work inside a multisite in regards to being a subdomain multisite? Have anybody tryed?

    Thanks! Hope it makes sense.

    Hi,

Some people successfully installed a multisite + domain mapping + Polylang. It may be tricky though as not all domain mapping plugin options are compatible with Polylang.

I was not thinking about the domain mapping plugin – more the build in domain mapping in Polylang (set languages from different domains setting).

Polylang with domain mapping seems to work fine with my first tests. Thanks!
