    Hi @luciano13,

Did you add the shortcode to an Elementor widget, or is also available in the classic/Gutenberg editor when not editing with ELementor?

If so, is it the shortcode or the HTML widget?

    regards Aert

    Hi @luciano13,

Could you please verify that your translation files are all up-to-date?

You can do so by navigating to WordPress > Dashboard > Updates, and scrolling down the page until you find a button that says “Update translations”.

Additionally, could you confirm that you have translated your pages with PolyLang by following the instructions mentioned in our article here? https://complianz.io/configuring-for-polylang/

Just let us know if you have any additional information about this.
    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Hi.
Before write to you, I had read the documentation.
    Wordpress have ALL languages upadates.

In Polylang I have this situation about complianz(are years that I use Polylang):
In English and also in Italian all strings are in italian.
Idon’t think to translate in english what is already in english in compliants frontend.

The thext in the Banner cookie is always in italian for both the languages.
I manage about 20 sites with Elementor + Polylang and I like Complianz very much and so I don’t want back to previous GDPR/COOKIE plugin.

    I forgot…..
Before write to you the first time, I had already deleted all pages, created in italian to, after, to duplicate in english BUT again the page was in italian in Elementor and in english in the frontend.

It’s possible FORCE the specific language?
Example: add IT for italian inside the shortcode. This should be simple and all problems should be resolved if for same reason, how in this case, don’t appear the right language.

    Hi @luciano13,

Complianz will set the Legal Documents to the same language as your Site Language, configured under Settings > General. For multiple languages, you will have to use a multilanguage plugin, such as PolyLang.

Legal Documents in Italian and English
I have set this up on a testing environment with the setup as you described it:
Italian as Site Language, PolyLang with Italian as main language and English (US) as secondary, Elementor Pro and Complianz.

Following the configuration article for PolyLang results in the correct behavior on my end, you can verify this on the link below. Use the language switcher on the top right to switch between Italian (default) and English.

    https://gorane.us.instawp.xyz/index.php/elementor-cookie-policy/

Is there anything in your configuration that I might be missing here?

    Translating the Cookie Banner
The Cookie Banner can be translated to multiple languages by using the String Translation feature in PolyLang. If the Cookie Banner strings do not show up under String Translation, please navigate to Complianz > Cookie Banner and click Save once, after which they should appear.

    Hope it helps.
    Kind regards,
    Jarno

    Dear Jarno,
I glad your efforts to help me but I had already done what you suggest. I am web designer from 1994. Maybe don’t means nothing. All can mistake something but after 3 days that basically try to resolve this problem, I can say that Complianz don’t work with Polylang in several sites here.
I SHOULD BE HAPPY TO GIVE YOU THE ADMIN ACCESS so you can see and investigate the problem.

    I did other things too.
I installed the plugin Theme and plugin translation for Polylang (TTfP) and started to translate the text for italian version. The Complianz script accept only the paragraph title how you can see.
    https://cosmeticaitalia.net/cookie-policy-it/

I tried to disable all possible plugins without results.
Sincerly I don’t know what say.
I must resolve or I will change plugin, I haven’t others solutions.

    Hi @luciano13,

I would of course gladly help you to resolve this, but please note that per the WordPress Forum Guidelines, we are not allowed to offer or ask for any form of login credentials.

As PolyLang handles the translations, perhaps the team over at PolyLang will also be able to provide you with some assistance on this, they might have a better idea of what the cause of the issue could be.

We would of course be glad to offer any cooperation necessary to help with that. Please feel free to reach out to us on support(at)complianz.io to contact us directly.

    Kind regards,
    Jarno

Hi. I think to found where is th source of problem.
Yesterday I read a post into teh WordPress Community Italy where a persone advise the problem that could cause the last Woocommerce version 6.1.1 cause a dismssed part.
I hadn’t time to read the woocommerce changelog but I tried to install Complianz into another my site with same structure (Theme+plugins ecc) but withou woocommerce 6.1.1 and all work perfectly in every languages.
I am no sure 100% about woocommerce but the probability is very high.
