Polylang & Elementor Pro Huge Issue (10-9-2020)

1.Since 2017 I use on my personal billingual site https://www.kalliergeia.com the Polylang plugin. And now I feel that I have trapped: I can not (and I do not want) change it but at the same time I can not upgrade to Polylang Pro.
The reason is the huge gap – issue between Elementor Pro and Polylang.
2.The theme builder of Elementor Pro is in conflict with Polylang. In the begining I thought it was a temporary issue that will soon solved. So I use the Polylang Connect for Elementor (making my site ‘heavier’) and the resault is tragic: I can not edit exept if I deactivate the Polylang Connect. But every time where deactivate it, the header and footer – wich have been created by Elementor Theme Builder – sow only the default language, Greek. And this make my site redicoulus.
3.My quastions are: do you want customers or not? Do you want to send them to other billinguals or multilanguages plugins? Have you a D-Day to solve this major problem? And if not, please inform us to programm our next steps.

    Thank you

  • @stefanoskonstantinidis In my opinion you are rude. Polylang is a free software with a lot of nice and useful features. The author does not describe anywhere that Polylang is compatible with Elementor. So, why do you expect it is working? Just because you wish it?
There is Polylang Connect for Elementor. If it is not working as you expect, contact the author of this plugin.
Take Polylang as it is or leave it. Say “thank you” for this gift or leave it.
But, trying to put the author under pressure because you need (or expect) a feature which was never promised is a very rude behavior.

    Mr Coder

1.Fist of all let me tell you that yours is not a reply of a “e-community” member and it is on limit of gentility
2.In the flesh: are you sure that you read my topic? Are you sure that you understood the problem?
3.Who told you that I have not “pay” for that gift? Do you know it? And if you read carefully, when I say that I WANT TO UPGRADE – BUT THERE IS NOT ANY OTHER WAY TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE DEVELOPERS EXCEPT THIS FORUM (and to ask them if they have a plan to solve the issues with Elementor Pro) – WHAT I MEAN?
4.I am the owner of a physical and e-shop store who runs on an Opencart platform – therefor I know very good the physical and e-market. Yours and the Polylang’s developers behavior do not honor the 5-stars I gave since I start using the plugin on my personal site – and ofcourse is very bad tactic to sale (yours?) their product.

Anyway, I wish to thank you, because at least I (think) that understood the limits of the “gift” Polylang plugin.
