    Hi!
I use polylang on a WP-Site and everything works very well. Now I want to integrate a calendar, but I did not find a calendar which works 100% with polylang.

Do you have any suggestions? Is there a specific event-calendar you can recommend?

    Thank you!
    Raphael

    Hi,

https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/events-maker/ is compatible with Polylang according to his author.

I plan to integrate Polylang Pro with The Event Calendar in future version 2.2 (to be released in August).

Dear Polylang author!!! Please make it working with The Event Calendar! Thats will be brilliant! Its the only reason i wanted to migrate to WPML, and i love Polylang very much, but its making problems with any events plugin! We all pray for this update!!!

    Hi,

See https://polylang.pro/polylang-2-2/. Final release planned next week.

Hello, I want to know if recurring events can also be translated with polylang pro 2.2.

    Thank you

I also have this question. We’ve been listing recurring events in english on our polylang site, and it’s been working great for a couple of years, but the last time I updated my plugins, the urls are throwing a 404. I did see a post on modern tribe that said that that hasn’t been fixed as of 12/1/17 for polylang pro, which we can’t afford yet. https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/404-recurring-events-with-polylang/

Here are a listing that’s showing the issue. Click on any of the events on this page: https://www.calle24sf.org/en/event/latin-standards-2/all/ They all go to a 404. This is difficult, because we host events for other organizations, and it was working fine in english until my last plugin update, many of our events are recurring and ongoing. I couldn’t check this on the dev site, because these recurrent events aren’t there, they are entered by users. I guess I could import that data, but I haven’t gotten that far yet.

If I disable polylang, the en/ is removed from the permalink and the event loads. If I can try a rewrite rule that loses that en for a quick fix, that’d be great, but polylang will redirect to the en/, I’m sure with good reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

@zignorp If you have problems after an update it is easy to downgrade to a version which is working for you. Use git or do the downgrade manually.
You will find the earlier releases on this page https://de.www.ads-software.com/plugins/polylang/advanced/ (scroll down, to the end of the page).

I will try this and bookmark the link but I think that it’s not the polylang upgrade that’s the problem, it’s the 3 events calendar upgrades. I am going to downgrade today, which I never like doing, but I thought you should be aware of the problem, as compatibility is still an issue.

I ve got the same problem. I use Event calendar Pro because of shortcodes that are really usefull. But recurrent events don’t work in foreign langages.
    It’s a shame.
