Polylang installed, logo is no longer displayed

    Hello, I have built a WordPress site for a friend with a Salient theme and WPBakery for free. I installed Polylang so that I could make the site multilingual. But since then, the logo is no longer displayed in the default language, only a standard icon. If I switch to the other languages, the salient logo now appears. I have already invested hours, but I can’t find a solution. However, I have read here in the forum that there are some people who want to have a separate logo displayed for each language. Does this have anything to do with it and where can I specify that I want the same logo for all languages? I have already written to Polylang support, but they referred me back to this forum. Many thanks to the helpers.

    Is there no one here who has in-depth knowledge of wordpress? ??

    You probably activate the settings option to synchronize the medias, and your logo image is link to the wrong language. Deactivate that option, or add a logo image for every language.

    i still have the same issue as you. What you can try, switch to the prefered language here: https://imgur.com/a/duMj6Cc > move to Salient logo settings and check if the correct logo is displayed. If not, re-upload the logo. Clear browser cache.

    It′s strange because in the past it worked fine.

    If this is not working you have to handle it with CSS (opacity: 1 or 0) on dark logo class for example.

    Experience the same issue.

    To whom it may be interested, fixed that problem by deleting “key name=”site_logo”/” from wpml-config.xml.

    My problem is just the transparent header dark logo not showing. Unclear why this problem only impacts that setting.
