Polylang is Un-Translating my cart & checkout messages

  • In short: Polylang is overwriting proper translations that Woocommerce makes.

    For example when I add a product to the Woocommerce cart (with Polylang disabled), it’s properly translated by Woocommerce:

    ““Vin Du Terroir Proefpakket” is toegevoegd aan je winkelmand.”

    But as soon as I enable Polylang, that translated string reverts back to English:

    ““Vin Du Terroir Proefpakket” has been added to your cart.”

    So instead of translating, Polylang is effectively un-translating my Woocommerce checout experience.

    Why is this happening and how do I fix it?
